Mind HAC

We are in a mental health state of emergency! With 246 million people suffering from depression alone, access to mental health care is critical. Unfortunately, stigmas, high costs, a lack of access, and a shortage of diverse counselors can make it challenging for individuals to seek. That’s where Mind HAC comes in. We are the Spotify for mental health. Our platform provides on-demand, anonymous, and culturally specific healthcare to people around the country through an audio streaming platform. We utilize data from user behavior to build analytical models, which counselors and therapists use as a continuation of care tool to increase engagement and strengthen diagnosis. Audio channels are comprised of culturally specific content, such as music, therapeutic messages, and sound waves, designed to positively modify behavior without a user having to self-identify. Users register anonymously, answer a few research-based questions regarding their current state of mind, and then our platform builds audio channels specific to each user’s mental health struggles. We are used in schools to increase success rates of students by improving their mental health, in high-stress careers such as police departments to lessen stress levels, and with active duty and veteran military populations to decrease rates of PTSD.
