DAWn Audio solves a critical problem facing music artists today: the inability to digitally co-create live due to incompatibilities between digital audio workstations (DAWs). DAWs, such as Garage Band, are the software used by more than 30 million artists worldwide for music creation. However, the incompatibility between these DAWs forces artists to export and email audio files when collaborating. This outdated process wastes time, burns money, and kills the creative process. Our middleware approach bridges this incompatibility, creating a “DAW-network” that allows artists to co-create live from anywhere in the world while using their preferred DAW. Our unique approach makes us the only holistic solution in the market, providing remote editing, cross-DAW compatibility, and live collaboration. Our pre-revenue startup is currently in closed-beta, focused on university markets to build our network for a full commercial launch in August 2023.
