SurgicalEd VR

SurgicalEd VR helps surgeons of all levels who are seeking to learn blind procedures (those performed by feel), gain confidence and expert-level technique with new operations or new devices in a safe and ethical manner. With cutting-edge virtual reality and haptics technology featuring real patient anatomy and real-time expert feedback, we teach “blind procedures” in a realistic ultra-precise cost-effective way without the risk of practicing on patients or the resources required for cadaver labs all while saving faculty expertise for where it’s needed most: inside the Operating Room. Ultimately, we aim to revolutionize surgical education to improve patient outcomes: so long are the days of surgical complications and the accompanying costly litigation and product withdrawals related to those poor experiences. Starting with our core expertise for urinary incontinence surgeries, we will continue to expand to epidural catheter procedures and other commonly performed blind surgeries through collaboration with industry expertise.
